We often get asked what our standard booth setup looks like. We supply “open booths” so not like your traditional “squeeze in a box” and take a picture set up where there is poor lighting and the maximum that can fit in the booth is 4.
The advantage of the open booth are numerous: –
– More room for more people to participate at the same time
– More entertaining as on lookers can watch what goes on in the booth
– Better quality lighting meaning better image quality
– Less disruption as they are quicker to setup and take down

Our booths consist of a background (7ft x 5ft) at the rear and a photo box at the front that houses the camera, computer, lights and printer. The photo box also has a forward facing monitor so the participants can see themselves on the screen before the picture is taken. We have a selection of different backgrounds and can also supply custom backgrounds for a small fee.
The images below shows a typical setup and the result below to it: –
Another advantage of the “open booth” setup is that the 10 secs delay between each picture allows the participants make a dash to the prop table and make a quick change, queue the hilarity 🙂
Another advantage of the “open booth” is how many people can participate at the same time, the example below shows 12 people in the same picture and the real bonus is that ALL 12 RECEIVE A PRINTED COPY OF THE PICTURE, yes I did shout that as most photo booth hire companies supply a maximum of 2 prints per group
Remember not all booths are the same, check this out
*Please note this shows the upgraded 6×4 prints and not the standard 6×2 strip.
