Wedding Images from The Vu, Bathgate
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kaileigh and Graeme’s wedding day. The venue they had selected was the very popular Vu in Bathgate. Initially when they tried to book this venue they were told that they would have to wait a minimum of 2 years; however they were very lucky to get a cancellation date, every cloud has a silver lining. Speaking of clouds there was no shortage of them for this wedding day and the rain came down in torrents meaning that the couple could get none of their pictures taken outside to take advantage of the stunning Vu from this venue. We did however manage to get outside after the first dance for a few atmospheric night shots. So here are just a few of my favorite images taken during the day.

This is just a sneak peak of the DVD that I have created from Saturdays wedding. I have included a bit of time lapse photography to capture some of the guests arriving at the venue.

Wedding Photography from the Mooring Hotel, Motherwell
The venue for Lynne and Steven’s wedding was the Moorings Hotel, Motherwell. Due to the lack of gardens at the hotel the couple had asked my to suggest a nearby location where they could go to get some formal pictures taken. They had been contemplating Viewpark Garden and also Chatelherault Country Park, both within a 15 minute mile from the hotel. I agreed that both of these locations would provide a lovely background for any wedding picture; however I also suggest Strathclyde Business Park. They were a little skeptical at first however then went along to have a look at the location I had suggested and were pleasantly surprised so much so they picked this for the photos. Wedding Photography Slideshow – House for an Art Lover
I created this short video for Debbie and Grant just to showcase some of my favorite images taken during their wedding day. The venue was the stunning House for an Art Lover building in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. 2 Month Old baby Callum’s 1st photoshoot
It doesn’t feel that long ago that I was photographing Jacqueline and David’s wedding at New Lanark (June 2012) and here they are again in front of my camera but this time there are 3 of them. Baby Callum was born 7th June 2014, his arrival was a bit of a surprise as he arrived a few weeks early. So here are a few images from his 1st photoshoot.

I had the please of photographing Emma and Gary’s wedding recently at the Best Western Garfield hotel in Stepps. I first met with the couple way back in 2012 and now 2 years later their wedding day finally arrived. Emma and Gary had planned to have their service and reception in the same location so stress of getting guest from A to B on the day. Emma had put a great deal on planning into her day right down to the finer details such as the blinged up converse for her to wear in the evening and the personalised gift bags for her bridesmaids. I always make sure I get pictures of these little details on the day to serve as poignant reminders in years to come.
