I was asked along to photography the Finnigan Ball which was held in the Airdrie’s recently refurbished town hall. The Finnigan ball was a large family party, the 250 guests attending the event were all related and by the looks of things really know how to party. I was there as the event photographer offering formal pictures taken against a backdrop with instant viewing and an onsite printing service. Here are a sample of just some of the family, group and individual shots taken during the evening: –
For many of these event I am able to attend at no cost to the organiser, so if you are interested in booking an event photographer please do get in touch.
I was asked if I would be able to cover a children’s football tournament held at the Toryglen Football Centre. The event had been organised in order to raise funds for the SADS charity and also to raise funds for the football clubs. I would be there to photograph the teams, individual players and some of the action from the pitch. I would also be offering on site printing so that if any of the parents wanted a picture from the day then it could be printed there an then. There was no fee for me and another 2 photographers to attend for the full day (8am to 5 pm) and we had also agreed to donate 20% of all takings made from the sale of images on the day towards the tournaments charity.
The children all 450 of them seemed to have a great time in this amazing facility and I was also kept fit running up and down the length of the football pitches all day. Here are 3 montages made up from some of the images captured on the day.
If you are running a charity event and may be thinking about asking a photographer along then please do keep me in mind 🙂
