The Strathaven Hotel are holding a wedding fair on the 15th Feb 2015. The 3 images they wanted for their advert in the Best Scottish Wedding magazine were all taken by me during a recent wedding I photographed at this hotel.
Children’s School Pictures
The children recently had their school pictures taken; however the end results were not the best. So much to their annoyance I got them to wear a shirt and tie for a quick photoshoot in the studio. Sam didn’t want to smile as he currently has 4 missing front teeth
Birthday Party Photo Booth Fun
Kat recently celebrated her 40th birthday. Having the photo booth at her celebrations proved to be a big hit and everyone had a great time and all left with some fantastic pictures.

Family Studio Photo Shoot 2
I had Millie back in the studio recently. The last time she visited she was only 2 weeks old and here she is now 7 months. This little girl was a absolute angel which made for a super easy studio session with some amazing images. Mum and got got involved also making for some really memorable family pictures which I am sure will be treasured for years to come.

I had Freya (9) and Ruben (3) in the studio at the weekend for their first official photoshoot. I last photographed Freya 3 years ago when she was performing her duties of being a flower girl, Ruben attended the wedding also but was still in his mummies tummy at the time 🙂
Both children were super excited and probably a bit nervous when they arrived; however Freya showed no signs of nerves and was very comfortable having her picture taken; however Ruben was a completely different story. Ruben seemed very interested in how the camera worked and was desperate to have a shot a go with the camera, perhaps he will be a famous future photographer.
I persisted with Ruben and in the end got some great pictures of him by himself and also with his big sister. When the family saw the pictures they could not believe how many pictures I got of Ruben because as far as they were concerned Ruben had a “meltdown” and didn’t get any pictures on the day.
