The Boyd family are no strangers to me taking their pictures as they have had many photoshoots in the past; however this time there was a new edition to the family. Baby Mia who was born only 9 days ago was having her first official photoshoot :). Sophie who is no longer the baby of the house seems to have taken well to her roll of big sister and just wanted to show here affection to her new little sister Mia with lots of kisses and cuddles. New Born Home Photoshoot
16 months ago I photographer baby Allyssa who was just a few days old at the time, since then I have had the Bennet family in my studio when Allyssa turned one and now there is a new member of the family. Baby James was born just a few weeks ago and I was asked if I could come out to the family house to take a few pictures of James and the rest of the family together. I recently had the please of photographing Amanda and Martin’s wedding at the Strathaven Hotel. The couple seem to be very relaxed on the day and didn’t allow the wet weather to phase them at all. Wedding Images from The Vu, Bathgate
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Kaileigh and Graeme’s wedding day. The venue they had selected was the very popular Vu in Bathgate. Initially when they tried to book this venue they were told that they would have to wait a minimum of 2 years; however they were very lucky to get a cancellation date, every cloud has a silver lining. Speaking of clouds there was no shortage of them for this wedding day and the rain came down in torrents meaning that the couple could get none of their pictures taken outside to take advantage of the stunning Vu from this venue. We did however manage to get outside after the first dance for a few atmospheric night shots. So here are just a few of my favorite images taken during the day.

Wedding Photography from the Mooring Hotel, Motherwell
The venue for Lynne and Steven’s wedding was the Moorings Hotel, Motherwell. Due to the lack of gardens at the hotel the couple had asked my to suggest a nearby location where they could go to get some formal pictures taken. They had been contemplating Viewpark Garden and also Chatelherault Country Park, both within a 15 minute mile from the hotel. I agreed that both of these locations would provide a lovely background for any wedding picture; however I also suggest Strathclyde Business Park. They were a little skeptical at first however then went along to have a look at the location I had suggested and were pleasantly surprised so much so they picked this for the photos. Lynne & Steven – Photo Booth Mooring Hotel, Motherwell
Te location for last night Photo Booth was the Mooring Hotel in Motherwell. This hotel is not the largest venue so we had to improvise and set up at the end of a 5 ft corridor, this however did not deter the guests who were all eager to get in the booth for a bit of fun.
